PROJECT VISION
Every part of the Winter Harbor Public Safety Building had a job to do. The fire bays needed to accommodate emergency vehicles and equipment, the water system needed to move a significant amount of water quickly, and the records vault needed to provide a secure and dependable place for important documents.
Those functional requirements were paired with thoughtful craftsmanship throughout the building. Detailed skirt work and flared siding bring depth and character to the exterior, demonstrating that a hardworking municipal facility can still have a strong architectural identity. The finished building is practical where it needs to be, detailed where it matters, and designed around the people who rely on it.
