PROJECT VISION
Originally built in 1883, the Claremont Hotel is a remarkable piece of Maine hospitality history and one of the surviving hotel buildings from the state’s nineteenth-century resort era. The project was a complete four-story renovation centered on preserving that history while preparing the property for a new generation of guests.
The transformation included new elevators and heating systems, a complete kitchen renovation, and extensive restoration throughout the historic structure. Outside, the property was further renewed with a pool, spa, and thoughtfully developed landscaping. From the building’s original character to the modern systems now working behind it, the renovation brought new life to a Maine landmark without losing the qualities that have defined it for more than a century.
